Christelle Didier creates cartoon for Dad, You’ve Got Dementia

Christelle Didier creates a cartoon for ‘Hotdogs and Chips’ in Dad, You’ve Got Dementia.

Once a book is published it has a life of its own.

I was surprised and moved that our dear friend, Christelle Dider, felt inspired to draw this cartoon of the piece, 'Hotdogs and Chips', after reading DYGD.

I love the way Christelle has captured the expressions of people, especially the resident who didn't want a hug. I also think her drawing of me is a pretty good likeness, especially with my cap.

Who knows what the future holds? Graphic novels / bandes dessinées are hugely popular in France.

And here’s the rest of Christelle’s cartoon for ‘Hotdogs and Chips’:
