Dad, You’ve Got Dementia: launched!

Petone Baptist Church/te Hāhi Iriiri o Pito-one was comfortably full (about 110 people)  when the launch started at 10:30am on Saturday 8 July, 2023.

There was a mixture of people who knew Dad, or who knew Mia and me, and some people who had just heard about the launch.

All the formalities were over by 11:15 and then there was a real buzz as people caught up with each other and enjoyed the morning tea, which was generously provided by family and friends.

Schrödinger’s, the local independent bookshop, was there and sold out of the 80 books they had bought along.  Top-ups were found and they managed to sell 87 books in total which is a great result for a launch.
